Players: Join a Team
Our teams practice and play games across Loudoun County, VA.
We have a number of teams that will be adding players for their 2023/2024 seasons. We are especially looking for girls from the 2006-2010 age groups.
We’ll also be forming new teams where we have enough interest. Leesburg FC teams compete in the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL) or the Elite Development Program (EDP). Visit the Teams page for each team’s info.
Coaches: Form a Team
Leesburg FC was founded in 1998 by experienced parent coaches who wanted their team to compete at a travel level, without having to pass the torch to the “professionals” as happens at so many other clubs in Virginia. LFC was developed for teams who want to compete at a high level, build lifelong friendships and memories, and learn from their experienced coaches (who might also be their mom or dad!).
Whether a parent or a pro, we hold our coaches to a high standard requiring all coaches to be US Soccer Certified and all of our teams augment their weekly practice schedule with training from Leesburg FC technical trainers.
What to Expect Playing with Leesburg FC
All teams have access to high quality certified coaches and/or professional training to compete at the highest level. Leesburg FC is owned and operated by its members, it creates a fantastic soccer community and helps keep the costs down especially compared to other local clubs. Each team manages its own schedule of practices, tournaments and training, but typically the annual cost is a third of other local clubs.
