Lightning (2008G)

The Leesburg Football Club Lighting are looking for a handful of new players for the fall 2026 season in the U19 age group (girls born in 2008-2009). If you are interested in a team that has fun and focused practices twice a week, competes in local tournaments, and has much lower fees than the local clubs, then you have found your home!

We will be committed to helping parents develop growth-minded young people through strong and consistent leadership and communication.

The team will be coached and trained by Jesse Sheehan. I am a nationally-licensed coach with over 20 years of high-level club and high school coaching experience. I carefully plan all sessions within my season’s  curriculum. I am also a chemistry teacher and soccer dad who understands the need for flexibility with the demanding schedules of high school kids.
