Storm Blue 2007 Girls

Leesburg FC Storm Blue – a 2007 (Fall ’20 U14) girls team competing in the NCSL.

The LFC Storm is a competitive 2007 girls team playing in the NCSL. The Storm just came off an undefeated Fall season in 2019 with only one goal scored against them. They are looking forward to the 2020 Fall season.

The team is led by Co-Coaches Beth Fuller, a USSF ”E”Licensed coach and Coach Marlena Beach. Marlena played soccer for Shepherd University and has been an integral part of developing young soccer player with LFC. Both coaches have over a decade  coaching experience. The Storm is looking for talented, committed and focused players to potentially join our team. We are especially looking for defensive minded players for the upcoming fall.

Our team is full of heart and has a wonderful balance of competition and fun. Not only are our players coached by both Beth and Marlena, they have two trainers, Coach Walter Bustamante and Coach Ted Edwards. Our trainers bring technical and tactical expertise to practices and have been working with the team for the past two years.

Practices are twice a week throughout the Fall and Spring. League games are played on Saturday or Sunday against NCSL opponent teams in the region. Roughly half the games are expected to be played at LFC’s home field of Morven Park in Leesburg Virginia. We participate in pre-season tournaments/scrimmagefests and usually an end of season tournament (Hershey Memorial Cup in Hershey is a favorite).

All interested players, born in calendar year 2007 are encouraged to contact Coach Beth Fuller ( for more information and to sign up for a tryout session.
