Leesburg FC is pleased to continue its highly successful keeper training program in the Spring 2018 season.

Coach Caco

Coach Caco was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and raised in Santos, SP, Brazil. Caco started playing soccer at the age of 5 and attended Unimont College majoring in physical education. He was recruited and played Goalkeeper for the professional teams of Portuguese Athletic Association, Vasco de Gama, Ilha Porchat Club and also trained youth players to bring them to the highest level of competition in Brazil. Caco is a seasoned soccer coach and trainer in U.S with 9 years of youth coaching experience. He has trained and coached both girls and boys travel teams in NCSL, CCL and WAGS leagues for clubs in the metro D.C area. He specializes in goal keeper training and development which has included goalies of the top ranked youth travel U.S teams and the 2013 NCAA Emory college finalist. Caco is passionate, hardworking and dedicated to working with youth athletes to make them the best they can be in their sport while teaching them real life lessons.  .

This is a strong technical curriculum to aid our players in their pursuit of proper goalkeeper technique and training.

Keeper Training will be the following Mondays from 6:30 to 7:45 pm:

  • April 2
  • April 9
  • April 16
  • April 23
  • April 30
  • May 7
  • May 14
  • May 21
  • June 4 (rain date)

Realizing that our travel players have already played a game the previous Sunday, these sessions will not be physically exhausting, but rather focus on positioning and technique.
